The Best Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie

So anyone that knows me well, will know that I am quite anxious and fairly uncertain when it comes to sharing my recipes. But I'm going to be straight up here. This is not one of those recipes. Ive been holding onto this little gem for a while and it is my most requested (demanded???) recipe. Kid approved, husband approved and non-vegan approved. So let's just get to the recipe, shall we.



Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  • 2 cups baking flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 TBSP molasses

  • 5 TBSP Oat Milk (or any plant based milk)

  • 4 TBSP Vegan Butter

  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 325'f. In a large bowl combine sugar, molasses, oat milk, vegan butter and vanilla. Mix well. In a second bowl, mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Once mixed, add dry ingredients and chocolate chips to the wet ingredients. Mix well. If mixture is too dry, add another tablespoon of milk. Once the proper consistency is achieved, form the dough into 1.5 inch balls and place on your non-stick baking sheet. Gently press the ball to flatten slightly. You should be able to form approximately 18 cookies. Bake at 325'f for 11 minutes. The cookies will look undercooked when removed from the oven. This means they are perfect. Let the cookies cool on the pan for at least ten minutes. After ten minutes, place cookies on a baking rack and allow to completely cool. Now, enjoy the cookies.
